About Kristen Bonelli

Kristen’s passion for pottery was ignited in Mrs. Marks’ art class at Elkhart Central High School. That love carried into many late nights in the pottery studio at Saint Mary’s College, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Art degree. After college, she occasionally took pottery classes and workshops—finally fully returning to pottery at the Elkhart Art League at the suggestion of Anne Blackburn. Kristen equally enjoys throwing vessels on the wheel and hand building; often combining several techniques in building her work. She is a pottery tool and glaze hoarder who loves to alter pieces with carving, piercing, sgraffito, sculpting, and glaze combinations.
