Open Studio Thursday Evening
Thursday Night from 6–9 p.m.
Requirements:
Beginning level experience for those who are not currently enrolled in a class or workshop.
OR
Ongoing studio time included with class fees for current students.
Fees:
Member or Non-Member not enrolled in class $15
Student/Educator or Senior not enrolled in class $10
Member or Non-Member enrolled in class: $0
$25 for 25 lbs. of clay for Non-Members
$22.50 for 25 lbs. of clay for Members
Clay must be fired by EAL teaching staff, and clay needs to be purchased from the EAL. Fees are $6 per piece to bisque fire and glaze fire. Glazes not provided by the EAL need to be approved prior to firing.
Open art studio is for independent work time in the studio environment. There will be no instructor, however, EAL staff will be there. This is an opportunity for students to have extra studio time to develop skills and finish class work. It is also opportunity for artists not enrolled in an EAL class to work in the studio and use our equipment to create their own work.
You may also pay cash or check during studio hours. Payment for glazes and firing will be required at time the piece is presented for bisque fire.
